These high quality colours flash cards can be used to teach the names of colours, matching the colours, learning the names of objects relevant to the specific colour and matching the colours with the objects.
Contents:
There are 11 colours in the pack. Each colour has four flashcards. Altogether there are 44 flash cards.
Colour flash card (splash-like). The set includes red, blue, yellow, orange, green, purple, brown, grey, pink, black and white. The remaining flash cards consisted with pictures of 3 objects which are relevant to the colour.
Guidelines
- Print and laminate the cards.
- Trim the sharp edges.
- Show a card to the child. Introduce the name of the colour. (NB: Limit only three colours in one lesson.)
- Lay the cards on the table and ask the names.
- Look for the objects which have same colours and let the child to bring it to you and match with the flash card
- Lay the color cards on the floor or table. Offer picture cards one by one and let the child to match with the colour
- Ask your child to sort the cards according to the colours
- Do reading and writing practice using flashcards.
